The Michi-no-Eki Kitaura souvenir shop offers a wide variety of local specialties, including “Tsuki-no-Shio” (Moon Salt) and “Nigari-chan” (bittern), both produced right on-site, along with fresh seafood products like Surimi (minced fish paste), Himono (sun-dried fish), and Uo Sushi (fish sushi), as well as delicious tea harvested from the hillside plantations overlooking the sea, high-quality shiitake mushrooms, rice and a seasonal selection of fresh vegetables & fruits from the mountains.
